Daniel Doss received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas. As a technical theater major, Dan's experience with all aspects of the performing arts is extensive. He has constructed sets for a variety of productions such as Annie, Lend Me a Tenor, The Hobbit, Noises Off, Rumors and Venetian Twins.
In addition, Dan is also responsible for the sound, lighting, and stage rigging for all productions and concerts here at NCTC.
Coming from West Texas, it is apparent that Dan is certainly no stranger to the life of a cowboy. He began working on a ranch at the age of thirteen. Even to this day, he sets off for home to help his friends with horses and cattle.
Besides keeping busy with all of the productions at the college, Dan also teaches a Stagecraft class at NCTC. Anyone who is looking to learn more about the exciting opportunities and adventures "behind the scenes" should contact Dan.
