Hi! I'm Rita
MacFarlane. I teach College Prep Math. I'm looking
forward to a great semester and hope you are too.
I've been teaching
the different levels of developmental math at NCTC since
January of 1996, shortly after moving to Texas. I taught
for NCTC at Marcus High School, at the Lewisville site,
occasionally, at the Denton site and now at the Corinth
campus.
Before this,
I taught developmental math at Thomas Nelson Junior
College in Virginia and at Clark County Community College
and the Community College of Southern Nevada in Nevada.
I've also taught other subjects at different educational
levels over the years. I've taught in several different
schools in several different states and in some unusual
circumstances and almost all of it has been fun. I hope
this semester will be fun for you and a positive learning
experience!
