With the opening of its new Visual Arts Center on the Gainesville Campus, North Central Texas College took a significant step forward in its ability to offer students a widely diverse range of studio-based art instruction of the highest caliber. Soon, opportunities for studio courses will be extended to students at other NCTC campuses as well. Prospective art majors, particularly those who plan to continue their studies at the university level, can find more detailed information on academic transfer here.

Art courses also serve those non-transferring students who make the decision to include some instruction in artistic appreciation or expression in their community college experience as part of their goal of personal enrichment.
