Advisement Session:
An advisement session
is a meeting that lasts about an hour, and it is where the potential
Surgical Technology student gathers information about the field
of Surgical Technology, the Surgical Technology Program and the
HESI A2 Test. It is mandatory
that the potential student attend an advisement session. Once at
the advisement session, the student will fill out the appropriate
admission forms for the program. The forms the student fills out
for the Surgical Technology Program are different from the application
for admission forms required by NCTC. Note: Although the student
may be accepted into NCTC, that does not mean they automatically
gain acceptance into the Surgical Technology Program. Once
the student chooses the best date to attend an advisement session,
they must e-mail Judith Rodgers at jrodgers@nctc.edu
or Tyler Lenington at slenington@nctc.edu to reserve a spot.
