Training Classes:
1 weanling size halter (needs to be on the larger size)
1 yearling size halter
1 adult size halter
2 25' cotton driving lines with scissor snaps (no bull snaps, need to buy at least 30' of rope so that when we make them they will end up 25')
1 browband headstall (that will adjust small and large) must have a throatlatch!
1 smooth mouthed snaffle (can be o-ring, egg-butt, don dodge style)
1 set of long heavy leather split reins (harness leather reins are heavier)
1 hobble strap for snaffle (also called a curb strap on a bit, but please no chain ones
for the snaffles. It needs to be leather or rawhide or combination of the two)
* We can help purchase anything on the list when you get to school so that you have the right equipment. If you have something that is close to what we require we can look at it, and usually let the student use what you have if it is safe and close to what we use. Driving lines are cheaper if you purchase the cotton rope and make them yourself, and we show students how to make them in the training classes.
