Equestrian Team

The NCTC Equestrian Team is a club sport for both men and women to compete in riding events. We are part of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association and compete with other two-year and four-year colleges throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The team has both a Western Stock Seat Team and an English Hunt Seat Team that compete against other colleges in levels from beginner up to open riders. Show experience is not necessary to be part of the team, and students do not have to have a horse to compete either.

NCTC is now the Regional Presidency college for Zone 7 Region 2. And will be hosting IHSA shows at the college

Requirements:

• Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 hrs per semester
• Must make the required number of practices a week (3)
• Must maintain satisfactory grades in classes to travel
