The EMT Basic Courses are
offered every Fall and Spring semesters. Please check the current
course schedule for days and times. The EMT Basic Program has two
classes EMSP 1501 (Lecture) and EMSP 1160 (Clinicals). For the Clinical
portion, the student will attend 4/ 12-hr shifts, one with a hospital
and 3 with a fire department. A student will attend clinicals when they have successfully completed the lecture portion of the EMT program. Clinicals are scheduled around your
work and school schedules. There are mandatory
Saturdays that the EMT-B student must be present on campus to complete both skills and lecture portions of the course.
Tuesdays and Thursday 6pm-10pm
Saturdays 8am-5pm
