The journey begins with enrollment and completion of any of the five courses on the top row. Students can take one or any number of the first five courses. But note, three of the courses are gateway courses (courses that lead to other rows). Once any of the gateway courses are complete any of the path courses under the gateway course may be taken in subsequent semesters along with any courses from the first row that have not been completed. As the road map shows, DFTG2332 and DFTG2358 may only be taken after the completion of their respective secondary gateway courses (immediately above them on the map). The Final Project course DFTG2338 is not linked to any specific path. It may only be taken during the student's final semester. It may be taken with any other coursework during that semester. DFTG2338 serves as the capstone course for the degree and the student will be required to draw on the knowledge gained in all the courses completed throughout the program.
Five courses are advanced electives and the student is required to complete any three for the degree. The five Core courses required for the degree are not shown here
but may be taken during any semester. Back to the Drafting home page.
