Agriculture is the world's
most crucial industry. Farming and ranching have
changed radically in recent years. New methods, new varieties,
new breeds, new equipment and a new global economy all are having
far-reaching effects on how the farmer and rancher must operate
in order to compete in today's high-tech, high-risk marketplace.
The chances for success are very poor for the farmer/rancher
who hasn't prepared himself or herself through education,
to meet the challenges.
Equipping students with
the knowledge and skills they need to compete in today's real-world
agricultural market place is our primary aim at North Central
Texas College . No matter what your specific career objective
may be, we have a program to meet your special needs.
It might be a two-year
Associate Degree program to prepare you for further study at a
senior college or university, or you may wish to complete a two-year
degree, or a one-year certificate program to prepare you for more
immediate entry into the job market. Perhaps you are already
working in the industry and wish to update your knowledge in skills
with just one or two courses; we will be glad to assist you with
your future educational and employment goals.
