1st Semester Students

Insurance policy through the college. www.k12studentinsurance.com Yes, everything on their site says it is for K-12 (up to 18 years old) but they do carry an accident policy for us. When you get to the site, type in North Central and then putting in TT takes you to TX. To the right you will see North Central Texas College. Click on ENROLL NOW. Fill out the information to enroll and mark Other. Fill in your information. You will be looking for the At School or the one for 24 hour accident coverage. Print a copy of the receipt and submit it to the nursing office for proof of insurance. This policy is minimum coverage for anyone who does not have insurance. If you have other insurance, just make a copy of your card and submit it along with your other paperwork.

Be sure that all immunizations are up-to-date. TB expires every year so check the date on it. If TB, DT or CPR is due to expire prior to May 2010, you will need to have it updated by the end of December and submit a copy to the nursing office. Hospitals require that we submit immunizations to them before school begins and they do not want to have to keep up with immunizations expiring during the semester. You can fax records to the office at (940) 668-6049 Attention Estelle. We need all updates at least 3 weeks before school begins.
