Watch this site for beginning reading assignments for Spring. We hope to have the majority of them posted before the holidays. ANGEL is usually not available between semesters so we try to post reading assignments and clinical orientation information for all levels on this site until ANGEL comes back up.

11/14/08 The nursing office will be registering all nursing students in the next couple of weeks. A bill will be mailed to you. Payment is due by December 10th. If you do not receive a bill, it is still your responsibility to make sure the payment is made on time. The Registrar's Office drops students who do not get their bills paid by the due date. You should be able to check your payment status after we register you by going into Campus Connect (like registering for classes).

New First Semester students:

Follow the instructions in your acceptance letter regarding the items you will need to submit to the nursing office.

Students going into 2nd, 3rd and 4th semesters:

Everyone, please check your immunizations, CPR Card and Major-Medical or Accident Insurance to make sure they are current. Submit copies (keep your original) to the nursing office if you have recently renewed any of them. TB test must be completed each year so that means most students going into third semester need to have this re-done (chest X-ray is good for 2 years). You may scan and email them to egilpin@nctc.edu or FAX them to (940) 668-6049 Attention Estelle. We would like to have these as soon as possible as some of the hospitals require that we give them copies of immunizations before the semester begins.
