NCTC has two Residence
Halls that students may choose to stay in, the more traditional
"dorm" type facility Bonner Hall and
an apartment style facility Hays Hall (shown
below):

- Was built in the 1970s and was renovated in 2003.
The two-story facility is a traditional community restroom style
residence hall. The building is separated into two wings-one for
men and one for women, each with two floors. It will accommodate
52 men and 54 women, double occupancy. (Single occupancy is available
for an extra charge, when space allows.) The wings are separated
by the lobby and the Coordinator of Residence Life's apartment.
Furnishings include bunkable style beds, 1 desk, 1 chair, 1 six
drawer-dresser, 2 open face closets, personal HVAC units, vanity
sink area, medicine cabinet, and above-shelf storage. (Click here to see the room diagram.)

- Was built in 2001 and is standard for the new style
of apartment living. Hays is a two-story facility and is set up
as an apartment complex with doors opening to the breezeway. There
are 8 apartment units with spots for 4 occupants in each, all men
or all women depending upon which fills up first. Apartments have
2 bedrooms that are double-occupancy with a common living room that
comes furnished with a sofa, chair, and shelving unit. The bedrooms
come with loft-style beds, 2 desks, 2 chairs, 2 three drawer-dressers,
2 large closets, 2 shelving units, HVAC per unit, and private bathrooms
per room with full-size tub. (Click here to see the room diagram.)
Students living
in both residence halls have access to the common facilities
at Bonner Hall. The residence halls at NCTC truly make a student
feel at home, with the same comforts which the student had at home.
In addition, to a few extras:
- Indoor Facilities at Bonner Hall - Bonner Hall has 2 study rooms; 2 kitchens; 2 laundry
facilities (2 washer and dryers each); 2 lounges; 2 foyers at the entrances
(setting areas, local telephone line, and coke and vending machines);
and the main lobby (sofas, large screen cable TV with VCR/DVD,
2 internet access computers, board games, and a ping pong table).
- Outdoor Facilities - Behind Bonner Hall is the facilities which
the residence hall students are free to use. They include a basketball
goal, sand volleyball court, grill, picnic
tables, and a lot of space for outdoor games. Hays Hall has a grill and picnic tables located on the grassy area by Hays Hall.
