Rebecca Reiter was elected Vice-President of the SGA for the 2005 - 2006 year.  Rebecca took her oath of office as the last item of business at the final General Assembly on April 22, 2005. On January 23, 2006 Mona Endres, the SGA President resigned and Rebecca Reiter took charge as the President of the NCTC SGA and held her first meeting on Friday, January 27, 2006. With the new constitution, Rebecca has assumed the position as Cabinet Chair for all three campuses. Rebecca has since been elected by the Gainesville General Assembly in April 2006 and again in April 2007 to serve as the Gainesville President & Cabinet Chair.

In January 2007, NCTC SGA was appointed the Region II Parliamentarian and in April 2007, NCTC SGA was elected the Region II President and Rebecca has represented NCTC in both of these capacities.

Under Rebecca's leadership the NCTC SGA has taken full control of the haunted house and completed endowed the SGA Student Leader Scholarship in one year.

Rebecca Reiter has been active in SGA for the past year serving in the capacities of Senator and Publicity Chair before becoming Vice-President.  In addition, Rebecca is involved with United Student; Gainesville Program Council; Outdoor Adventure; and American Red Cross Disaster Action Team.
