Region II

Texas Junior College Student Government Association is the association for students at 2-year institutions interested in positively affecting changes at their school and the schools across the entire state of Texas through a joint effort. The state is divided into six Regions.

Region II is composed of the following member schools: Brookhaven College; Cedar Valley College; Cisco Junior College; Collin County Community College; Eastfield College; El Centro; Grayson College; Mountain View College; North Central Texas College (NCTC); Northlake College; Richland College; Tarrant County College - Northeast Campus; Tarrant County College - South Campus.

  • Fall Conference November 8th from 10 am to 4 pm at Mountainview College
  • Spring Conference February 7th from 10 am to 4 pm at Mountainview College
  • Community College Day in Austin February 19th

Region II News:

  • State Conference Update: Region II passed the Dream Act with Mountainview as the Legislation Representative! El Centro named to the TJCSGA State Board as the Parliamentarian!
  • Region II at the Fall conference passed an initiative to increase the number of registered voters on every member school campus. Each Region II school should get two members deputized in their county so that they can distribute and collect voter registration cards on their campus.
  • The Fall Region II Community Service Project was a huge success and a tremendous help to the American Red Cross and the victims of disasters!
