The NCTC
Texoma Disaster Action Team will be composed of students and employees
at NCTC that want to make a difference in their community through
education and participating with the Texoma Chapter Disaster Action
Team.
Will be set at the beginning of each semester to coordinate with student schedules.
Each month
members will determine a project they would like to do for American
Red Cross from assisting with local need-drives to offering training
sessions.

After these four topics
have been completed members will be able to participate in the on-call
rotation for emergencies within the Texoma region. Team members
will respond when called out by a pager system to natural or man-made
disasters to assist with victim care and relocation.

Community Event - 2 points
Fundraiser - 1 Point
Introduction, Mass Care, and Damage Training - 3 Points
Family Services, Shelter, CPR/First Aid, ERV Training - 4 Points
Respond to Family Services Case Work - 2 Points
Respond in ERV for Canteen - 3 Points
Respond to Shelter - 1/4 Point per hour
CPR/First Aid Training - 10 Points
ARC Polo - 20 Points
ARC Briefcase - 30 Points
ARC Vest - 40 Points
ARC Windbreaker - 75 Points
