Here are some financial aid tips...
Here are a couple of programs you may be interested in pursing at your next institution of higher education. Good luck on all your future endeavors.

Associate Degree?

You may be eligible to receive a Texas Grant at the University where you are going to transfer. To be eligible for the Texas Grant you must be a Texas resident, have received your first Associates degree after May 2001, and be needy. Need is determined by the University and the U.S. Department of Education using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please contact your future university for details. This grant has limited funds, so apply early.

$ 1,000 Tuition Rebate

If a student graduates with no more than three attempted hours in excess of the minimum number of hours required for his/her bachelor's degree and:

  1. Is a Freshman who enters Texas public universities in Fall 1997 or later; and
  2. Is a Texas Resident; and
  3. Has taken all course work at Texas public institutions or higher education; and
  4. Has been qualified to pay in-state tuition at all times while pursuing his/her degree (financial/gift aid recipients included).

Students must apply for the rebate PRIOR to receiving their bachelor's degree. Please contact your transfer university for forms and details.

$ 2500 a year housing scholarship renewable for up to two years

applications are available in the financial aid office

Must be attending colleges in Austin, College Station, Denton, or San Marcos, Texas

Must be a community college graduate
