FAFSA Application = First Step in the Financial Aid Process

Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

NCTC Federal School Code 003558

Paper FAFSA applications available here:
Be sure to select the appropriate year
Current Academic Year: 2011-2012
Upcoming Academic Year: 2012-2013
Students who are would like to obtain a paper FAFSA application from Bowie or Graham can do so by visiting the Gainesville, Corinth or Flower Mound campuses or by printing the PDF version links above.
Once a FAFSA application has been entered a Student Aid Report (SAR) is generated. In order to ensure that your application has been received by NCTC we suggest that you follow up with our office a week after your application has been processed by the U.S. Department of Education.
In determining the need for financial assistance, the Financial Aid Office is guided by the estimated cost of attendance for each student, financial data reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and rules and regulations from the U.S. Department of Education. Each student who is eligible will be offered a "financial aid package" containing a combination of grants, student loans and/or student employment.  A student cannot be packaged for financial aid until his or her financial aid file is complete. The student's file is not considered to be complete and cannot be evaluated until the Student Aid Report and all other requested documents have been submitted and reviewed for accuracy.
