TELL US YOUR STORY! We want to know how NCTC has made a difference in your life - MYSTORY@NCTC

The NCTC Counseling Center on each campus is headquarters to a widely diverse, comprehensive array of services.  If you are having problems, sudden crises, or you just want to talk with someone; the counselors are available to assist you.  Of course, what we talk about is confidential.  Some other important services we offer are career guidance, assistance with study skills, and test taking.  Click on the Who and Where link if you wish to phone or email for an appointment.  While on campus, feel free to drop in.

Where We Are / How To Contact Us

Gainesville Campus – The Counseling Center is located in Room 108 of the Administration & Student Center (ASC) Building, also known as the "100 Building", on the Gainesville Campus. The ASC Building is located on the east side of the campus facing the main (front) parking lot and California Street. Look for the entrance nearest the flagpoles (see photo and map below). Entering here, you turn left down the corridor, and we're just past the Bookstore on your right.

What About the Other Campuses? -- Counseling services are available at NCTC's other campuses. The counselors at the Corinth and Bowie campuses are included in all planning and implementing of services on all campuses so that each student, no matter which campus they attend, will have equal access to all information available from the Counseling Center. Call each location for more information, or see announcements posted on the bulletin boards at each site.

Office Hours – During the regular Fall and Spring Semesters, the Counseling Center is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Special hours for registration are announced in the schedules of classes published each semester.

LIVE Counselor Chat:

A new service being provided for students and prospective students at NCTC is Live Counselor Chat.  You may “talk” to a counselor during the posted times and get information to help you get enrolled or to seek other information you need to help you reach your goals.

Live online counselors will be available each weekday.  The schedule for "talking" live with a college counselor is:
