Amy Klohn began working at NCTC in June of 2006. Amy was a counselor at NCTC then in October of 2007 she moved to the Dual Credit Coordinator position for Denton County.

 Amy received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas in child and family studies in 1997. She then went into the social work field where she worked with homeless families in Tarrant County for over seven years. During this time Amy went to graduate school part time. In May of 2006 Amy received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

On a personal note, Amy and her husband Kerry live in Corinth. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and volunteering at their church, Bridgeway Church in Flower Mound.
