Admission for Transfer Students:

Welcome to North Central Texas College! Students wishing to transfer to NCTC from another college or university must provide the following information:

  1. Complete an Application For Admission form, available ONLINE or download the Application in PDF format or pick up a printed form from the Admissions Office on the Gainesville or Corinth campuses or the main office at the Bowie Campus. Fill out the form completely and return it — as far in advance of registration as possible.

  2. Submit WITH your application official transcripts from ALL institutions of higher education you have attended other than NCTC.

  3. Submit, PRIOR to enrollment, official proof of your TASP Status: either official TASP scores or an official college transcript bearing TASP scores. Click HERE for more about TASP.

  4. Because the tuition rate a student is charged is based on whether he/she lives inside/outside the college district, state, or U.S., all applicants for admission are REQUIRED to furnish documentary proof of what they claim to be their place of residence. They do this by completing the NCTC Residency Questionnaire and signing an Oath of Residency. To claim Texas residency for tuition purposes, you must have resided in Texas for the previous 12 months, and you must have moved to Texas for reasons other than education.
