Study Teams (formerly Supplemental Instruction)

 

NCTC offers Study Teams in "high risk" courses to promote collaboration and support among students in a class, and to assist with student success.

Study Team Leaders are selected for their expertise in the "high risk" course subject matter. The Study Team Leaders attend class with the students so they can experience the structure of the class and understand how concepts are presented and when assignments are due.

These Leaders will meet with students outside of the classroom during scheduled "Study Team" periods, specifically set for those students in the targeted class. Students are welcome to attend as many meetings as they possibly can!
