NCTC offers Supplemental Instruction (SI) in "high risk" courses to promote collaboration and support among students in a class and to assist with student success.

SI Leaders are selected for their expertise in the "high risk" course subject matter. The SI Leaders attend class with the students so they can experience the structure of the class and understand how concepts are presented and when assignments are due.

SI Leaders have a schedule outside of the classroom specifically set for those students in the targeted class.
