Specific Requirements for International
Transfer
Students
Transfer students from other colleges and universities must submit proof of sufficient financial support, in U.S. currency. Students must submit an official affidavit of support and submit an official bank statement and a letter from the person responsible for providing the financial support. (Click

An official copy of all college transcripts must be submitted in place of high school transcripts.
Copies of the
current I-20 and all previous I-20s
must be submitted.
A letter from the International Advisor must be submitted stating that student is in good standing and is eligible to transfer. (Click

Students who are enrolled in an Intensive English program at another institution must provide a certificate of completion before full-time enrollment can be authorized.
Students MUST contact the International Student Advisor at their current institution in order to have their transfer information entered into the SEVIS database. This MUST be completed at least 60 days prior to transfer.
Students MUST also provide NCTC with a current mailing address in the United States as well as a current address in the student’s home country.
A minimum G.P.A. of 2.00 is required for admissions
Specific Requirements for International Students Enrolling
Concurrently
An official letter of approval for concurrent enrollment signed by the International Advisor from the host college must be on file in the Admissions Office for each semester the student seeks admissions to North Central Texas College. This letter must be received no later than 30 days prior to the first scheduled class day for a given semester.
The letter for concurrent enrollment must contain the following information:
Official seal of the host college or university
The semester for which concurrent enrollment is sought.
Signature of designated school official working with international students.
An official updated college transcript is to be submitted each semester that concurrent enrollment is sought.
Concurrently enrolled international students will not be allowed to enroll for more than eleven (11) semester hours at North Central Texas College without prior written approval from the international student advisor of the host college.
No students will be considered for concurrent enrollment until all requirements have been met and submitted to the International Student Advisor in the Registrar’s Office at the Gainesville Campus ONLY.
