Kari Ford received an Associate of Arts from North Central Texas College in May 2005, and continued her studies through TWU where she received a Bachelor of Social Work in December in 2006 and a Master of Social Work from Texas A&M in December 2010.   Kari began her career in Admissions through the Federal Work-Study program which offers students an opportunity to earn an income while attending school.   Kari was offered a full-time position in Admissions at North Central Texas College in 2002.

Kari worked at Collin College where she gained knowledge and experience throughout Student Services.  In addition to working in Admissions and Financial Aid, she was the Coordinator of New Student Programs, an Academic Advisor, and served as Associate Registrar at the Spring Creek Campus for Collin College.  Kari wished to return to her home area and wanted to give back to the institution where her career all began.  She accepted the position as the Director of Admissions/ Registrar for North Central Texas College in March 2011.

Kari has over ten years of experience working in Higher Education and has a wide knowledge base of Student Services.  She is service oriented and enjoys assisting others meet their educational goals.  Kari was a first generation student and worked during the duration of her academic career.  While being dedicated to the students being served, Kari implements a holistic approach in Admissions to better utilize resources needed to serve the increased number of students at North Central Texas College.
