Counseling and Resources
The SBDC provides FREE,
one-on-one counseling in planning, financing, marketing and in any other area of
starting or operating a small business. If you have no business experience, the
professional business counselors will help get you started. Clients from all
industries and market areas have gotten their start through the SBDC. Those with
an established business come for guidance in various categories of needs.
At a counseling session, your SBDC Consultant can assist you in

Writing your business plan;
Developing Social Media Marketing;
Seeking financial sources for capital;
Analyzing cash flow projection;
Improving financial profitability;

Developing competitive marketing strategies;
Advising on government regulations and taxes;
Training options in both management and operations

NCTC SBDC is part of North Texas SBDC, a nationwide system that links the resources of federal, state and local governments to those of colleges, universities and the private sector to meet the specialized needs of any type of small business.Regional specialty centers for government contracting, patents and licensing and other specialized services are available as needed.
