18 (1:00PM) -  A theatrical reading of "October Mourning", a program to commemorate the Great Hanging, a Civil War era tragedy that occurred in Cooke County will be presented at the First State Bank Center for the Performing Arts.  Faculty members Ron Melugin and Crystal Wright will be presenting the reading.  For more information please email greathanging1862@gmail.com or visit www.greathanging1862.com.


24, 25, 30, 31 & Nov. 1 (7:30PM) & October 31 (Midnight) - The NCTC Drama Department presents the Rocky Horror Show.  Tickets will go on sale October 20 from 1-5pm and can be reserved by calling the box office at (940)668-3355.

9 - (3:00PM) - The NCTC Performing Arts Department hosts the Denton Community Band in concert.  FREE Event and open to the public.  Please call (940)668-3318 for more information.  

17-18 - North Central Texas College Drama Department will host a Junior High UIL One Act Play Competition.  Schools and start times to be posted at a later day. 


20 (5:00PM) - Cooke County Home Hospice will kick off their annual fundraising events at the First State Bank Center for the Performing Arts with a tree lighting ceremony.  


26 - North Central Texas College will close at 3PM in honor of the Thanksgiving Holidays.
