The NCTC Library's Brown Bag Book Review Series celebrated its 25th Anniversary in May 2010. Beginning in the fall 2010 the Brown Bag Book Review began a partnership with the Morton Museum, with the Museum hosting the Brown Bag Book Review at Noon on the first Thursday of the following months: October, December, February, and April.
The Brown Bag Book Review will meet at the NCTC Library: September, November, March, and May at Noon on the first Thursday of the
month in the Library Lyceum Meeting Room on the Gainesville Campus.
All book lovers are invited to attend at no charge. Reviewers from the college, the service area,
and sometimes even the authors themselves, meet to discuss booksranging
from the new to the classic, from the serious to the silly.
So, bring a "Brown Bag" lunch and
join the fun. Water, coffee, and/or tea is provided. For more information,
call the library at 940-668-4283, or e-mail Diane Roether .
Call the museum at 940-668-8900 or email Cathy Farquhar at mortonmuseum@att.net
The next Brown Bag Book Review will be on Nov. 3, 2011.
