During the introductory class, you’ll use simple and fun techniques to master American Sign Language. Using theme-based presentations, songs, games and activities, you will gain basic skills to communicate with both the hearing impaired and the speech impaired. Includes study materials and specialized methods to prompt practice on your own. Instructor: L. Chambless. (12 hrs)

You have the basics down, so build on your ASL vocabulary - improving your manual and non-manual features of ASL, and learning phrases and simple sentences. You will also discover the benefits of signing for both the deaf community and the hearing. Each class is theme-based with presentations, songs, games and activities.
