Certified Medication Aide

Would you like a pay increase and advancement in your long-term care career? A Medication Aide Certificate can make it happen! This course helps you acquire the skills to pass the state certification exam. Must be currently employed as a Certified Nurse Aide in a licensed long term or state facility for at least 90 days. Text, lab supplies and state testing are included in course fee. (140 hrs)

Education:  High School Diploma or GED

Basic Reading and Math Assessment AND Advanced Math Assessment

Work Requirements:  Working as a C.N.A. in Texas with 90 days on the job

Criminal Background Check required; convictions barring employment

MEDICATION AIDE REFRESHER
Required CEU for current Medication Aides. Must show proof of license. (7 hrs)
