Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing)

 

Become an integral part of a surgery team! Join the medical clean team and safe guard patient care. Sterile processing plays a crucial role in the health care facility by maintaining controls and procedures for a sterile environment. Course includes classroom and labs followed by clinical experience. Text, lab materials, drug screen, and CPR class included in course fee. (140 hrs)

 

Age Requirements: 18+ at registration

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Proof of Immunizations required prior to registration

Must pass Criminal Background Check

Must pass Basic Reading and Math Assessments

 

Note: Vaccinations can take up to 6 months to complete, so students are urged to plan accordingly.
