Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Do you like helping people? Are you interested in a nursing career? Why not become a Certified Nurse Aide? Prepare to take the Texas Nurse Aide Certification exam and enter the nursing profession. Fee covers all training materials, exam fee, scrubs, and liability insurance. Test TBA following course completion.(56 hrs. class +24 hrs. clinical = 80 hours)
Age Requirements: 16+ at registration
Basic Reading and Math Assessment
Criminal Background Check (Convictions barring program Admission)
Must provide proof of current Immunizations
Note: Vaccinations can take up to 6 months to complete, so students are urged to plan accordingly.
State of Texas examinations will take place approximately one month after completion of clinicals.Please note that dates reflect class times/instructional times only. Clinical dates are additional days and will be announced during class.
