NCTC Lifelong Learning offers on-line classes in partnership with Ed2Go and Gatlin Education. Ed2Go and Gatlin Education are the industry leaders in distance education. They offer a wide variety of courses: career focused, continuing education credits, and enrichment.
Are you a good fit for Distance Education learning? Answer the following questions. If you answer yes to 7 or more questions, you should be a good fit. If you answer yes to less than seven questions, you might want to further investigate the requirements to make sure you will be successful in this format.

Can you access Internet email and the World Wide Web (WWW) 7 days a week?

If you do not have your own computer, can you get to a source or arrange to use some other computer at least two or more times a week?

Do you know how to send and receive email messages?

Do you know how to attach a file to an email message?

Are you proficient using standard computer applications that include word processing, spreadsheets etc.?

Can you create, save and manage files on your computer?

Do you stay on task without direct supervision?

Would you plan to allocate as much time in your schedule for an online course as you would for a more "traditional' face-to-face class?

Online courses are typically not transcripted by NCTC as the student is registering and paying directly through the online vendor. If a student needs to have a course transcripted by NCTC, please contact the Lifelong Learning office at 940-668-4272.
Enrollment is completed online at either Ed2Go or Gatlin Education. Simply choose the class you're interested in and follow the enrollment instructions.
Ed2Go offers "short study courses" that start monthly, with two hour segments released Wednesday and Friday over a six week period. The courses tend to be more affordable, ranging from $99 to $200. Classes offered include:
Gatlin Education offers Career Training and Certification programs. They are self-paced and prepare students for state examinations to work in their chosen career field. Class fees are higher, ranging from $595 to $5,500. Programs offered include:
