Medication Aide

 

This course will consist of training and clinical experience to master the  responsibilities of medication administration. Students must be Certified Nurse Aides in Texas with at least 90 days on the job experience. Tuition includes textbooks, lab supplies and the state testing fee. (120 hrs lecture + 20 hrs clinical)

    •    Must be 18 years or older
    •    Reading and two math assessments required
    •    Proof of immunizations required (see page 21)
    •    Must provide proof of HS Diploma or GED or unofficial college transcript
    •    Must provide proof of employment as C.N.A. with 90 days on the job
