Doctor’s offices need professionals who know the classifications, nomenclatures, and systems for medical billing. Learn how to navigate the complexities of CPT, ICD-9, ICD -10 and HCPCS coding methodologies for outpatient, provider office and insurance coding in this fast paced course. Additional training recommended prior to taking the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. Texts included in course fee. (80 hrs)

HITT 2046 - Advanced Coding

Analyze health records to assign principal/secondary diagnoses and procedures; and assign reimbursement methodologies

 

HITT 2045 - CPC Certification Exam Prep

Perform self-assessment of coding competencies; resolve learning gaps
