Dental Assisting

The Department of Labor estimates that the career of Dental Assistant is projected to grow much faster than average in the upcoming years. Our program responds to this demand with a 15 week course that combines lecture and lab on Saturdays, with hands-on training in an actual dental office. You will learn anatomy, dental terminology, chair side assisting, impression making, x-ray fundamentals, sterilization techniques, and tray set-up. Our instructors are Registered and Certified Dental Assistants with years of experience. Tuition includes textbook, materials, CPR, online Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) course and exam, online Nitrous Oxide course and exam, and an externship (lists and insurance provided.) Black scrubs are required, but not included in the course fee. (112 hrs lecture + 120 hrs externship)
