Online Library Instruction
Be sure and check out the new Library Instruction group on Angel! These lessons are designed to introduce the NCTC Library and its resources to students and faculty.
For instructions on how to access the group, click here.
Library Catalog
The library's online catalog allows students to search for items held by NCTC Libraries across all five campuses. It also allows students to request those items to be sent to their home campus for checkout. Students can also search for items placed on reserve for their courses by their instructors.

Interlibrary Loan/TexShare Cards
Can't find what you need at NCTC Libraries? We may still be able to help!
NCTC Libraries can borrow materials on your behalf from other libraries across the country via Interlibrary Loan
(aka ILL). Interlibrary loan services are available to NCTC Library
users at no charge. All requests must fall within accepted interlibrary
loan standards and copyright regulations. For more information on
Interlibrary Loan, click here.
NCTC Libraries also participate in the TexShare Card program.
With a TexShare Card, users can borrow materials directly from
participating institutions (such as the University of North Texas and
Texas Woman's University). In most cases, users need only present their
current TexShare Card and a photo ID. TexShare Cards are provided only
to NCTC faculty, staff, and students in good standing (i.e. no current fines, lost materials, etc.).
To obtain a TexShare card, qualified users must inquire at their NCTC campus Library and present current photo ID.
