SETTING UP SHORETEL AT YOUR WORKSTATION
Click the Start Button and locate Shoretel Call Manager on the Program Menu
This will open the Call Wizard, follow these steps through the wizard:
> Click "Next"
> Username: Enter your login user name (same as computer network login)
> Password: enter your Shoretel password (not voice mail PIN)
> Server: enter "Shoretel" as the server name (no quotes)
> Click "Next" > "Next" > "Next" > "Finish" (accept default selections for each of these steps.
New Users:
Default Shoretel set up password is "changeme"
Default voice mail PIN is "1234"
Existing Users:
If you need to reset Shoretel software at your workstation and cannot remember your Shoretel set up password please contact the Help Desk at ext 4284

CHECKING VOICE MESSAGES ON CAMPUS OR OFF:
On Campus:
Press the pound key twice (##)
enter your extension number
the voice prompt will ask you to enter your voice mail password and press #
Off Campus:
dial 940-668-3399 or 940-498-6299
press the pound key (#) during the greeting
When prompted, enter your extension number and voice mail password (default PIN is 1234)
YOUR VOICE MAILBOX - CHECKING OR CHANGING SETTINGS:
When logged into your voice mail box, either while on campus or off,
you have several menu options:
- Press 1 to listen to your messages
- Press 2 to send message
- Press 3 to listen to saved message

Press 7 to change mailbox options (including voice message)
- Press 8 to log off
- Press 9 to return to auto attendant
- Press # to mail box status

SETTING UP SHORETEL FEATURES USING SOFTWARE:
To create messages that callers will hear when your phone is not answered:

1. Locate "Configure ShoreTel System"
either through short cut link or Start Menu path

In the Call Manger wiindow
>select Options
>Configure Shortel System

2. In the ShoreTel System box
> Select "Edit Call Handling Modes"

3. Select "Review/Record Greeting"

4. Follow the prompts to record and review your greeting

5. Repeat this step for each of the call modes that you will be using (see below)

To change your Voice Mail Pin:
#1 - Open Shoretel Call Manager either through the Start Menu Program Menu or by right mouse clicking on the small yellow telephone in the lower right hand corner of your computer screen.
#2 - Select "Configure Shoretel System:
#3 - Click on the "Login and Passwords" tab

The "Change Call Manager Password" this is for program set up only and you do not need to change the set up password.
Do change your Voice Mail PIN - click "Change Voice Mail Password" to change your Voice PIN number
#5 - Enter current PIN and create new PIN, re-enter to confirm new PIN
