For long distance calls users need a long distance PIN. The PIN is used to charge long distance calls to the appropriate department. To obtain your long distance PIN, contact the Business Office, Mary Kaden, at ext. 4303
How do I access my voice mail from on campus at my workstation?
When on campus at your workstation
>double click the Voice Mail message icon that appears in your Outlook mailbox or on your task bar (depending on your choice for notification deliveries).

What is a Call Handling Mode?
Shoretel Call Manager has five preset calling modes available. Users can create, in advance, five different voice greetings and call handling options. These modes can be changed by using the software or by dialing in from off campus and using voice prompts to change mode settings. For example if you are ill and want to change the call handling mode while you are out of the office. View Users Manual to see additional information.

How do I change my voice mail PIN?
#1 - Open Shoretel Call Manager right mouse clicking on the small yellow telephone in the lower right hand corner of your computer screen.

#3 - Click on the "Login and Passwords" tab
#4 - The "Change Call Manager Password" this is for program set up only and you do not need to change the set up password.
#4 - click "Change Voice Mail Password" to change your Voice PIN number
#5 - Enter current PIN and create new PIN, re-enter to confirm new PIN

What is the Shoretel set up password?
The set up password is used only when customizing Shoretel for your extension. By default this password is: changeme, you can change the password however it will be needed if you have to reset up Shoretel due to system upgrade or workstation changes.
How do I set up Shoretel Call Manager Software at my workstation?
Before setting up Shoretel, be sure that Outlook is configured for you at your workstation.
Outlook and Shoretel are integrated, to work properly, Outlook needs to be set up first. View steps for configuring Outlook here, once Outlook is configured:
Click the Start Button and locate Shoretel Call Manager on the Program Menu
This will open the Call Wizard, follow these steps through the wizard:
> Click "Next"
> Username: Enter your login user name (same as your computer network login)
> Password: enter your Shoretel set up password (default password is:changeme)
> Server: enter "Shoretel" as the server name (no quotes)
> Click "Next" > "Next" > "Next" > "Finish" (accept default selections for each of these steps.
If asked, selection the option for Call Manager to open on start-up.
What is the Shoretel AnyPhone Feature?
The AnyPhone Feature reassigns your phone extension to another phone when working away from your office, this gives you the use of Shoretel features and Dialing directory, your calls will be directed to the extension you 'take over,' calls to the extension you 'take over' will be automatically forwarded to that user's voice mail.
How do I use the Shoretel AnyPhone Feature?
You can activate the AnyPhone feature from a system telephone, temporarily reassigning your home extension and voice mail to a different extension in the Shoreline System. click here for instructions
