AnyPhone Feature - reassign your phone extension to another phone when working away from your office

You can activate the AnyPhone feature from a system telephone, temporarily reassigning your home extension and voice mail to a different extension in the Shoreline System. (Need to 'reclaim' your extension? Click here)

The easiest way to reassign your extension to your home port is to click Go Home on the File menu in the Call Manager.

To assign your extension to another system phone
1 - Log on to voice mail from any Shoreline System phone.

2 - To change mailbox options, press 7.

3 - To reassign your extension, press 3.

4 - To assign your extension to the telephone you are calling from, press 1.
The phone you are calling from becomes your current extension and you can check your voice mail from this phone. Also, your calls will ring at this new phone. Your previous phone becomes unassigned and will not ring until you reassign it.

To reassign your extension using Call Manager


Open Shoretel and on the Call Manger File, click Go Home.
The phone connected to your original system becomes your extension again.


Or another method:

Log on to voice mail menu

Enter # and enter the extension number, then enter the PIN

Enter 7, Enter 3, Enter 2

To reclaim your extension if someone has assigned their extension to your phone.

Log onto your voice mail menu
Enter # and enter your extension number, then enter the PIN

Enter 7, Enter 3, Enter 1
