Consider joining a dedicated group of student scholars and faculty mentors in pursuit of academic excellence. Honors studies at North Central Texas College is a great way to continue your college journey and has a lot to offer to intellectually curious students. The honors approach celebrates the spirit of inquiry and the skills of critical thinking.
Honors faculty and coursework are the heart of the program. Faculty mentors encourage students to think about complex issues in a more complete way, resulting in nuanced, constructive dialogue—faculty knowledge of the subject matter as well as their varied experiences enable them to develop meaningful coursework and offer multiple perspectives to challenge conventional thought. This is no small task! NCTC’s gifted faculty members understand the importance of productive inquiry within the college setting and beyond.
Students benefit! Honors students receive personal attention throughout their time at NCTC and can expect smaller class sizes, guidance through early registration and advising, and assistance with the transfer process. Leadership and community service opportunities, as well as unique special events, are planned throughout the year for the honors community of scholars.
Don’t miss the opportunity to make a difference in your life and your community! Call or email, and let’s discuss the possibilities for you in the Honors Program, here at North Central Texas College.
Challenge your mind, change the world.
