Condoa Parrent received her GED at NCTC in April 1992
and immediately enrolled in the first summer session.
She also started working in the Counseling and Testing
Center as a work-study student.
She continued going to school full-time and in August
1993, she began a full-time position in the Registrar's
Office as a Level I clerk. She earned her Associate's
Degree in Secretarial Science in May 1994.
After graduation, she transferred to the University
of North Texas and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling
Education in August 1997. She was soon promoted to a
para-professional position as the Degree Audit/Graduation
Coordinator in the Registrar's Office. In August 1999,
she was promoted to Interim Registrar/Director of Admissions
after the current Registrar left.
She continued her education at UNT and graduated in
December 1999 with a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation
Counseling Studies and was promoted to Registrar/Director
of Admissions in January 2000.
Condoa was promoted to the Dean of Student Services position in July 2004. She was promoted to Vice President of Student Services in 2006.
Condoa received her Doctorate's Degree
in Higher Education from the University of North Texas in December 2006.
She is married to Jackie and they have two daughters and a son-in-law, Nicole, Lindsey & Eric. They also have a beautiful grand-daughter Macie. Her hobbies are singing, music, and spending time spoiling her grand-daughter.
