WINDOWS Grant
The WINDOWS grant provides partial scholarships for LVN and RN students, as well as career planning and preparation for people who are interested in pursuing careers in Nursing.  Scholarships are awarded based on availability of other funds and on specific grant criteria.  Priority is given to bi-lingual applicants, single parents, first generation college students, veterans and homemakers.  The application deadlines are July 15th for Fall, October 15th for Spring, and April 15th for Summer.  Applications can be obtained by calling the WINDOWS program at 940-668-3328.

Federal and State grants
LVN and RN students may apply for both federal and state grants by completing the on-line FASFA or obtaining a copy of the application from the Financial Aid Office at NCTC.  These grants are generally based on financial need.  Students can apply for Pell grants at any time of the year.  The deadlines for the other grants are posted on the NCTC Financial Aid website.

NCTC Foundation
The NCTC Foundation also offers a number of scholarships based on merit and/or financial need.  The applications deadlines are April 15th for Fall and October 15th for Spring.
