Who gets accepted into Nursing School?
Applicants are prioritized on a point system, based on their grades in nursing pre-requisites. Your grades in Anatomy and Physiology are especially important. Applicants with a high number of priority points are scheduled to take the Health Education Systems Inc. exam (HESI exam). This test evaluates the student’s abilities in reading comprehension and math skills; the math section does include algebra. The applicants with the highest scores on the test are admitted to the nursing school.
