10th Grade Admission
Students that are sophomores may be admitted into the Dual Credit program under special admission. Sophomore students with demonstrated outstanding academic performance, as evidenced by grade point average and additional testing requirements may be eligible. These students must meet TSI standard in all areas of reading and writing. However, if a special admissions student has approval from the high school to take a math course, they must meet the TSI required score in math prior to registration in that course. Students must have written approval from their high school principals and counselor. The Vice President of Instruction will give final approval for registration.
12th Grade Early Admission
Senior students may register for college courses under Early Admission status. Students entering under Early Admission may not receive dual credit. The high school is not required to award high school graduation credits for courses that are taken as Early Admission.
Home School Student
Students that are home schooled are eligible to apply and register for dual credit courses. Students must meet the same standards and follow procedures similar to other students. A notarized high school transcript must be submitted.
Students that were previously enrolled in dual credit and plan to register for courses after graduation are not required to reapply unless they sat out two long semesters. Students will need to submit an official high school transcript with graduation date and complete the online orientation. These students may choose to register for courses online.
