Gather up your favorite photos or create them as we go. This class will explore the avenues of using a digital camera, a computer scanner, and photo editing software.  We have several Kodak DX3500 digital cameras to display and let you experiment with (you do not get to take them home).  After taking digital pictures, you will then learn how to "upload" them into your computer and edit them with Adobe PhotoDeluxe or other photo editing software.

Perhaps you don't have a digital camera.  The other part of this class will teach you how to use a digital scanner to "scan" pictures into your computer.  Our computer labs are equipped with Hewlett Packard 4400 and 5300 scanners and offer great resolution for scanned objects.

With the quality of printers, digital cameras, and scanners improving, a course in digital imaging could be very benificial to the novice user.
