Arrive at NCTC by 8:00 a.m.

Bring a check or money order for $29 made out to ES. Also have a check or money order for $10 made out to NCTC. NO CASH IS ACCEPTED.

Bring a photo ID, a simple 4 function, non-programmable calculator, 2 #2 pencils, and know your social security number.

Food and drinks are not allowed in the testing room.

You will have five hours to complete the test, but you may leave as soon as you have completed the section(s) for which you are testing.

College 101/Orientation Wednesdays

Every Wednesday from June 5th through August 7th.  Meet in the Administrative Office.  Orientation will run 3pm-5pm.

All students new to NCTC must complete College 101/Orientation PRIOR to placement testing.  You may schedule your THEA date before this requirement is completed, however you will not be able to test if College 101 is not completed BEFORE your test date.

COMPASS Exam

The COMPASS Exam will be given by appointment only.
