Tuition/Fees Refund Policy

 A 100% refund will be given ONLY when a class is cancelled by NCTC. If a student completely withdraws before the first class day; there will be a 100% refund. If you drop during the first 2 weeks of class in a regular semester, you will get a 70% refund and if you drop during the 3rd week of class during a regular semester you will get a 25% refund. NO REFUNDS GIVEN AFTER THE 20TH CLASS DAY! Pleae see the catalog for information on other semester refunds including summer and mini-mesters.

 

Refund Schedule for 5-week I & II Summer Sessions:

          A 100 percent refund will be made for courses dropped prior to the first class day.  

          Otherwise:

          During first 5 class days ...........................70%

          During 6th class day..................................25%

           After 6th class day.....................................0%  (NO REFUND)


 Partial withdrawal:

        1st – 4th Class Day..........................100%

        5th Class Day.................................. 70%

        6th Class Day.................................. 25%

         After 6th Class Day.........................  0%  (NO REFUND)

        Complete Withdrawal:  Through June 2 ........100%

         June 3-17.......................................................70%

         June 18-20.....................................................25%

         June 21..........................................................  0%  (NO REFUND)

 

         Partial Withdrawal:  Through June 13............100%

         June 14-17......................................................70%

         June 18-20.....................................................25%

         June 21............................................................0%

   

STUDENTS WHO HAVE OPTED FOR THE FACTS PAYMENT PLAN AND DROPPING CLASSES AND/OR WITHDRAWING ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL PAYMENT OF THE PROMISSORY NOTE. REFUNDS WILL BE APPLIED TO ANY BALANCE DUE ON THE NOTE.
