Booster Clubhouse

Cancelled practice due to bad weather is never a problem for Lion baseball players, thanks to their modern Booster Clubhouse . The facility, located just a stone's throw from Lion Stadium, was built with funds donated by the NCTC Athletic Boosters Club . Housed in this great facility are:

  • Two carpeted batting cages measuring 15 feet by 75 feet, with pitching machines , where -- rain or shine -- Lion players can work on their batting technique .
  • Two indoor pitching mounds on carpeted surface.
  • Players Lounge , carpeted, which features cable television, lounge furniture, ping-pong table and foosball table
  • State-of-the-art video equipment (VCR, video camera, microphone) for analyzing swings and pitching mechanics.
  • Coaches' offices, restrooms, storage area, water fountain.
 
Bonner Hall

Bonner Hall is the on-campus housing in which the baseball players live.  It has just undergone a $500,000 of renovation making it one of the best on-campus housing facilities in Texas. Bonner Hall has recently Rooms include:

     Six drawer dresser

     Computer desk

     Bunk Beds

     Sink and vanity mirror which opens into two storage comparments

     Hotel size air conditioner unit

All utilities are paid full including free washing and dryer capabilities in the dorm.

Other Facilities in Bonner Hall include:

Students living in both residence halls have access to the common facilities at Bonner Hall. Bonner Hall has 2 study rooms (dry erase boards, large work table, 6 chairs, 1 sofa and 2 loveseats each); 2 kitchens (ice machine, sink, stove, oven, microwave, ample counter space, and kitchen table and chairs each); 2 laundry facilities (2 washer and dryers each); 2 lounges (1 ottoman, 1 sofa, 2 loveseats, and cable TV each); 2 foyers at the entrances (setting areas, local telephone line, and coke and vending machines); 1 computer lab (with basic computers with capability to type papers and print); and the main lobby (sofas, pool table, large screen cable TV with VCR, desk, board games, and game tables).

Outdoor Facilities - Behind Bonner Hall is the facilities which the residence hall students are free to use, they include a basketball goal, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, grill, picnic tables, and a lot of space for outdoor games.
