Equine Science Admissions
The NCTC Equine Program has implemented an interview process for
students applying to the program. We feel this process will allow us the
opportunity to meet with the students and get a better understanding of
what their goals and desires are while attending the program, what they
hope to get out of the program, and future career goals after this
program. It also allows us to show them the program face to face and
explain what the program is about, how it is set up, and what we expect
from students in our program.
The interview dates are set up to
coincide with the THEA testing dates on campus so that the students who
do have to take the THEA and may be driving from a distance can complete
several things in one trip. The interviews will consist of:
- A tour of the facility
- One on one verbal interview
- Riding interview and knowledge assessment
-
Check with the department for the dates available for 2012. Please e-mail sswitzer@nctc.edu for more information.
